AREAS I KNOW BEST:
I'm much obliged to have scouted for many directors... Film: Francis Ford Coppola Scott Hicks Steven Spielberg
Richard Pearce Billy Freidkin Dan Petrie, Sr. Douglas Heyes James L. Brooks Peter Farrelly Ron Maxwell John Irvin Dan Petrie, Jr.
Commercials: Doug Taub Marcus Stevens Michael Karbelnikoff Graham Henman Ron Castorri Joe Pytka David Cornell Rob Lieberman Mark Coppos Peter Smillie David Wild Agust Baldursson and Production Designers: Rick Carter Jemma Jackson Barbara Ling Dean Tavoularis Bruno Rubeo A personal note: My warmest regards to the beautiful state of Virginia and my friends at the Virginia Film Commission for years of fruitful collaboration. And three cheers to all those places and people I've come across over the years in my travels for the perfect location; from the bustling cities of the East to the wind-swept hillsides of the California coast and all wonderful points in between, yes this land was truly made for you and me and I for one am grateful for it. Thanks also to Tinseltown and Madison Ave., for the work. It's a whacky business sometimes, but probably no whackier than the minutia of daily life in most communities and neighborhoods across America. The appearance of production trucks, radio chatter, film crews, lights, cameras, and a movie star or two usually draws a gawking crowd, but we're looking at you too. It's also a profession that generally pays well and is as potentially lucrative and rewarding as one cares to make it. I'm just a lucky slob from Ohio who happened to be in the right place at the right time." -
Clark Gable. |
